Mama Belva...this is for you!

So, I've been a huge slacker. So in one post I will very quickly update you on our last few months.
-We had and enjoyed Christmas and all the festivities that come along with it.
-We took our yearly trip downtown to see the lights and have dinner.
-Kaili had her first Violin concert. Bravo Sweetie!!
-My mom, Stacie and I had our yearly Christmas shopping, lunch, shopping, dinner, and shopping all about us. I love it I feel like a teenager again with mom spoiling me!
-Jason and I went to the Annual Formal SWAT Christmas party and he felt he needed to dress as Dumb & Dumber, him obviously in the orange, and a good friend he talked into wearing blue. It was hilarious! My husband sure does know how to turn some eyes!
-January (the ugliest month ever!!!!!) was pretty mellow but we did get some good ol' sleddin in there. SO FUN!
-I went from being blond for the last 10 ish years to my natural color, brunette. Like it some days, miss the blond some days.
-The kids went to Disneyland with my parents in February. Thank you Mom & Dad!!!
-And last, I finally turned the big 30 on February 28th. Jason made sure I celebrated in style in Vegas with our besties!!!!!! Thanks Babe! *)

Seeing what the Easter Bunny brought them

Kaili made this for me and Jason for Easter. It was her first time sewing. Thanks Granny for spending the time to teach her. We love it Kaili girl!

The kids made us dinner on Easter Eve

My lil' cutie pies!

So we had a quiet Easter this year. The girls have been pretty sick with strep a few times in a row and fevers non stop, but they were happy to try on their new dresses and let me take their pics. Jason had signed up for a shift a couple weeks prior (not realizing it was Easter) and had to work all day. Luckily he was able to be home in the morning to watch them look for their eggs and find their Easter baskets. I made breakfast then we played nail salon for a while before we met Jason for lunch. By that time the girls were pretty tired from not feeling well and we hung out at home playing beauty parlor and watching their new movies. They looked so pretty in their dresses even not feeling very well. I hope everyone had a great Easter!

Kaili Won!

SHE WON 1st PLACE! I am so proud of Kaili she entered in the school reflections doing 3-D art. The theme was "A Patriot is" and she said, "A Patriot is someone who takes the right steps to become a good leader."
She made this out of fondant frosting all by herself. (thanks to Nana for putting her through classes to become a Wilton certified cake decorator) She made a pair of shoes (steps) a patriot hat, the flag, and the wagon (leading).
She had quite a bit of competition and I'm so proud that she did it on her own.
Great job Kaili girl! We love you!

Ending our trip in Las vegas seeing Cirque du Soleil

This was an awesome Christmas totally surprising the girls with a family trip to Las Vegas and California. We left Christmas morning right after breakfast. We had so much fun and really enjoyed the time with just the 4 of us. They really enjoyed Cirque du Soleil (Mystere) in Las Vegas. I would love to do something like this in the future. I loved spending quality time with my little family, what's a better gift than that?
